Working The Dogs

Working the Dogs

Working the dogs (is the professional ‘term’ for taking out the dogs for outdoor walk, playing with the dogs, training the dogs Etc.) For example, so called dog whisperer Ceaser Milan is working the dog, that means he is correcting the behavior of the dogs, straightening up dogs bad habits and so on.

Nowadays a lot of people especially young people owns the dogs as well as fewer older gents. Dogs owners are growing. However, a lot of dog owners still does not know how to work dogs. Dogs not on leash, leaving dog poops everywhere even on city streets, even on other people properties. That’s ugly.

These are still not stray dogs on streets which are much worser, but dogs owned by someone still acting strangely because the dogs owners still do not know how to work dogs

Lastly, behave yourself irresponsible dog owners

First East German Club Called RB Leipzig

Red Bull Empire. That's how Thais progressed and honed their soccer

For the first time since 2009, East Germany has a club in the Bundesliga. It should be cause for celebration. A sign that, after two decades of awful management, East German football is on the up.

Very few people are celebrating. Why? The answer is simple: RB Leipzig, who earned promotion to the top flight just under two weeks ago, are the most hated club in Germany.

No club in Europe is more divisive than RB. Backed by energy drink producer Red Bull, they have clambered from the fifth division to the first in the space of just seven seasons.

They playing well and so successful in this 2016-2017 season, they became Bayern Munich best rivals and on the top of chart now.

Fidel Castro

November 27, 2016
90 years between birth and death, 57 years at the helm, Fidal Castro of Cuba finally passed on to another life.
As a tribute, my favorite of his quotes are, those were more like facts and predictions than quotes, actually these became facts in human history
1. US will not or never invade Iran, instead will make peace
2. Ernesto Che Guevara was shot and fell during crossing a stream in Bolivian jungle. He was a enemy of Bolivia back then and a true hero of Bolivia now. What a twist of history

Remembering Calstate's Own Hal Fishman

August 8, 2007
Hal Fishman, the longtime news anchor for KTLA-TV Los Angeles, died at his home Tuesday morning, less than a week after being diagnosed with colon cancer. He was 75.

Fishman had been hospitalized for a serious bacterial infection after collapsing at his home Aug. 1. While undergoing treatment for his infection, doctors discovered that Fishman had colon cancer, which had spread to his liver.

The Tribune-owned station said Monday that Fishman had returned to his home, where died at 3 a.m. Tuesday with his family.

"We're deeply saddened at the loss of Hal Fishman," KTLA vp and GM Vinnie Malcolm said. "We are thankful for his unparalleled service and years of dedication to KTLA and the greater Los Angeles community."

Fishman, a 47-year news veteran, had anchored KTLA's 10 p.m. newscast since 1975 and also served as the show's managing editor. He recently was inducted in the Guinness World Records for being the world's longest-running television newscaster. Fishman also was known for his signature nightly commentaries, which earned him several Golden Mike, AP and Press Club Awards.

"He'd wake up with the news; he went to sleep with the news; the news was his life," said Jeff Wald, Fishman's longtime friend and news director. "He took it very seriously because he felt that imparting the news to the public is one of most important things you could possibly do."

"KTLA Morning News" anchor Carlos Amezcua will continue to serve as interim anchor of KTLA's "Prime News" for the remainder of the week, but no decisions have been made about Fishman's replacement beyond that point.

Fishman started his career in broadcasting while working as an assistant professor of political science at California State University, Los Angeles, teaching a course on American political parties. In 1960, he was approached by local TV station KCOP asking him to teach an on-air class in politics. The class, "American Political Parties in Politics," was a success, and KCOP asked Fishman to anchor his own news segment.

Gene Autry, then owner of KTLA, hired Fishman as a news anchorman in 1965. At KTLA, he covered such stories as the 1965 Watts riots, the 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy, the 1987 visit by Pope John Paul II to Los Angeles, the 1994 Northridge, Calif., earthquake, the 1991 Rodney King beating and the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger released a statement saying that he was "deeply saddened" by Fishman's death.

"I remember Hal giving me the news when I first came to California in 1968,"

People does not remember how to walk in Yangon

In Yangon, there are too many taxis. Way more than per average for an city and city streets. Public transportation such as city rail lines and city buses are not efficient enough to transport people from place to place quick. That’s happening in every part of the world, rich or poor and it is totally understandable.

The problem is people don't know how to walk anymore.

GEN Dunford and Senior Adviser to US Pres Visits troops stuck in the mud

DoD News, Defense Media Activity
QAYYARAH WEST AIRFIELD, Iraq, April 4, 2017 — Marine Corps Gen. Joe Dunford and Jared Kushner, the senior advisor to President Donald J. Trump, today received briefings from American and Iraqi service members during a visit to a base 10 miles from the front line in Mosul.
Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is visiting Iraq to assess progress in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. He invited Kushner and the president’s Homeland Security Advisor Tom Bossert along to meet U.S. service members and see the effort, close up.
Visiting Tactical Assembly Area
The men visited Hammam al-Alil, a tactical assembly area, just over 10 miles from Mosul. There are roughly 100 American service members of the 1st Battalion, 73rd Cavalry at the Iraqi base who provide assistance to Iraqi security forces in their battle in West Mosul. There is also a platoon-sized element of the 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery at the base that provides fires support inside Mosul.
At the forward base, Dunford and Kushner received briefings from Army Col. Pat Work the commander of the 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, who has responsibility for the advise and assist mission in the region.
The men moved to the Iraqi side of the base and Army Lt. Gen. Stephen J. Townsend, the commander of Operation Inherent Resolve, introduced them to senior Iraqi leaders.
The received a firsthand appraisal of Iraqi operations inside Mosul. They spoke about the tactics they are using and the casualties they are taking. They also spoke about how they expect to rebuild Mosul -- Iraq’s second-largest city -- after the destruction ISIS has caused.
Praising U.S.-Iraqi Partnership
“It’s been an absolute honor to be here to see the progress that everyone’s made together,” Kushner said at the end of the meeting. “Speaking with the American troops and then briefly speaking with the Iraqi troops, the partnership that’s been formed here truly is something that is very impressive to me, and something that I know I hope endures for many generations.
Kushner added, “I hope that the victory that you have in Mosul in the near future will not just be a victory for American and Iraqi troops, but it will be a victory for the world.”
Dunford put the visit in perspective. He noted that the first time he met many of the Iraqi officers it was October 2015, noting it was “a very dark time.”
“What’s most impressive to me, now, in addition to the performance of your men on the battlefield, is the hope … about Iraq and the future,” the chairman said.
Dunford expressed his condolences for the Iraqi security forces’ casualties in the counter-ISIS campaign.
‘We’re Committed’
“We’re committed to make sure these sacrifices matter,” the chairman said. He also said the U.S. commitment would endure.
Dunford said he is pleased with the very close partnership between Iraqi forces and their U.S. advisers.
“I believe Mosul will go down in the history books as one of the greatest battles in history,” he said. “I think part of the story will be the partnership you have had with our forces. The most important part of the story will be about your leadership, your courage and your performance. And just to tell you on behalf of the team that is here right now, we are very proud to be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with you and fighting with you.”
