There is famous UC Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara College and small scenic city of Santa Barbara where a lot of tourist visit because of the beautiful beaches. there are also big Chevron offshore oil and gas facilities almost all along its fabulous coast line along HWY 101 , also you will see small fishing villages with all kinds of plantations mostly manned by hardworking Mexican immigrant workers and their families.
