TEHRAN – Iran exported 2.3 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil on average during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-July 22, 2018), an 185,000 barrels increase from the average daily exports in the whole of last year.
The country’s average crude exports stood at 2.115 million bpd during the last Iranian calendar year, Shana news agency reported on Wednesday.

Based on government and ship-tracking data, Iran’s crude exports to major Asian customers in May rose to the highest in eight months.

Sputnik has quoted Indian Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as saying that his country’s intakes of Iranian oil jumped near 50 percent in June.

The Trump administration recently announced its plans to reduce Iranian oil exports to zero by November.
Earlier in July, Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said the country’s oil production and exports have not changed significantly despite U.S. efforts for disrupting Iran’s market.
