NoroVirus
NoroVirus is the most common cause of
gastroenteritis. Infection is characterized by diarrhea, vomiting and stomach
pain. Blood is not usually present. Fever and headache may occur. A contagious
stomach bug that infects 685 million people around the world every year
NoroVirus first appeared around 2010. At Winter
Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, there have been more than 200 confirmed

NoroVirus spreads from an infected person mainly by
direct contact (such as shaking hands) by touching an infected surface or
through contaminated water and food. Seven in 10 NoroVirus outbreaks are caused by infected food workers. NoroVirus

There are no special treatment (There is no cure for this so far). Doctors typically support patients by providing oral and intravenous
fluids. Recovery is quick, usually 72 hours. (Otherwise you go the other
